Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website. My name is Luke Rapisarda, and I am currently working in events as a public safety and event management consultant for Ingress Events. Originally from Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin (the Waterpark Capital of the World!), I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in Marketing and Psychology and competing as a Division I student-athlete. I then spent the next two years continuing my education and working full-time at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in their renowned Master's of Sport Administration program and Department of Athletics. Following graduation and a brief stint in corporate marketing, I have landed exactly where I want to be - working with some of the best people at the biggest events in America.
As a young professional, I am looking to continue to build a strong network of colleagues that work in or around the events industry. Please use this site as a way to connect with me on any platform. |

Ingress EventsMy work at Ingress as a Manager of Public Safety and Events has and continues to provide me the perfect space for both professional and personal growth. This company provides me with exposure to the best events, including work with clients like Super Bowl, TNT Sports and the Men's March Madness Final Four, the Kentucky Derby, Brewers Association, the Luke Bryan Farm Tour, Mempho Presents, LIV Golf, and numerous other renowned events. From managing a small project, to helping with overall event operations, my role will continue to expose me to all facets of an event as I continue to learn through more experience in the planning and execution of these premier experiences.
UW - MilwaukeeOver my four years in Milwaukee, I was providentially fortunate to receive numerous opportunities to better my leadership, professional, and interpersonal skills. I served as Milwaukee's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee president with my main responsibility being a critical communication liaison between our student-athletes and administration. I gained invaluable work experience working as a Milwaukee Athletics Marketing Assistant. In this role I created marketing plans, planned promotions, worked as the in-game host for Milwaukee Men's and Women's Basketball, and created content on TikTok. Finally, I played a critical role in planning and hosting Milwaukee's end of the banquet for student-athletes, the Golden Panther Awards. Most importantly, I was a student-athlete on our Men's Track and Field Team and served on the team's Leadership Council from its inception. These opportunities allowed me to grow, learn, and lead. They have also ignited a fire in me to look for the best opportunities to continue to better my colleagues and myself while feeding my passion for a career in this space. |
UNC - Chapel HillOver my two years at UNC, I have been fortunate to receive numerous opportunities to continue my growth as a professional. From June of 2023 to June of 2024, I worked as a Marketing Coordinator, taking over all the marketing responsibilities for UNC Women's Soccer, Wrestling, Women's Lacrosse, and Softball, as well as taking the lead on the pre-game football fan fest, Tar Heel Town. Being at UNC has led to many additional professional opportunities as well, including 3 NCAA National Championships and leading in-venue production for 2 ACC Championships. These professional opportunities, married with my work as a Marketing Coordinator, developed my professional skills to be prepared for the next step in my career at Ingress.
